Flowers are produced in upright clusters of 5 – 15. Opening lemon yellow and fading to white, they are carried on graceful, arching stems. Their fragrance carries on the air and is particularly strong at night. It has good disease-resistance. If left alone, ‘Tall Story’ tends to grow wider than high, so therefore may be used as a groundcover. It is best if loosely tied to a stake or other support when its remarkable ability to flower right down to ground level can be appreciated. It will then reach 6.5 feet and flower continuously until late autumn.
