This rose is a dark shade of rosey salmon pink. It flowers continuously from spring through summer and throughout fall. The blooms are medium-sized, rounded in form, with up to 36 petals arranged symmetrically into a cup. They are apaced neatly over the rose in short-stemmed clusters. The rose can be used on a wall, fence, pillar or trellis. It grows slowly but steady, with stiff canes that are easily trained. It does not resent being pruned. ‘Pink Perpetue’ is a vigorous grower with dark leathery leaves which get some black spot in Florida. Walter Gregory chose the name simply for its pleasing sound.
