Lamarque (OGR)

The result of a cross between ‘Blush Noisette’ and ‘Park’s Yellow Tea-Scented China’. The double flowers are moderate in size and white with yellow centers. Blooms occur in clusters and fragrance is excellent.A specimen of ‘Lamarque’ found by Extension Horticulturist Craig Grant in San Antonio has been verified to date back to 1890. Several very large and handsoome specimens may be found tumbling over garden walls alongChurch Street in Charleston, S.C. The foliage is unusually dark green and healthy. It is one of the finest climbing roses for year-round garden effect.
